I'm Amy, owner of Amy Whitson Designs, wife of my high school sweetheart, and mom of three teenagers. After walking through the renovation process at my own home, I came to love the renovation process of taking something old and bringing new life to it. From the time my kids were young, I've helped people organize and decorate their homes. I love to bring beauty and function and watch families enjoy their spaces anew! I'm thankful to now use my gifts in the field I've grown to love - design. After several years assisting a designer with residential new construction, I founded my own business in 2019. I've had the opportunity to work with many clients and contractors on jobs of varying sizes.
You'll find my approach to be extremely personal and streamlined, working toward your goals with your budget in mind. I want the design process to be enjoyable. I spend a lot of time with my clients getting to know them and how they want their home to feel and function. At the end of larger projects, I feel like those clients have become friends and I am so excited for them to enjoy their new space with friends and family. In the end, you'll love the space we create together!
